About Us

Vandematram is a collaborative effort from few young Indian people to unite together under one umbrella ‘Swadheen’ and convey our thoughts to large target audience. We will try to touch base with the past, present and future of INDIA and its people. We also wish to present the magnanimous history of Bharat when it was coined as ‘Golden Bird’ and prove our point supported by facts and concrete evidences.

We also wish to draw parallel with things/culture/traditions which still are relevant in modern times, but have lost its sheen because of our indifferent attitude and partly because of we have become more westernized in our outlook and our failure to understand what exactly we are loosing.

More often it is said that ‘We may have been rich and prosperous long back, but now things are not the same’. We feel that these arguments not only lower our morale & our confidence but also act as an hindrance in our vision to create a shining and sizzling India. We need to focus and also understand the negative points which made us from Powerful Nation to a developing nation. With passage of time, we started neglecting our knowledge & science and in fact have started being copycats of western worlds. Our present generation of Teenager, Youths of Call Centre era have produced more ‘Cool Dude’ type generation who have no idea about ‘Charak, Bodhayan, Panini, Bhaskaracharya.

Maithili Sharan Gupt had remarked ‘Who are we? , What have we become? , and What will we become? . We wish that at least answer to his question ‘What will we become?’ is positive and joyful, though it’s important to understand our past to carve a better future. The study of our glorious past is important to understand, so that we can build a better India ahead. We are sure that in the process to find answers to this question we will learn lot of things from ourselves and from you all.
